Golf is the centerpiece of Audubon.

The 18-hole championship course was designed by Joe Lee, one of America's foremost golf course architects. Measuring 6,710 yards from the blue tees, each hole is enhanced with tee boxes that allow daily changes in the play of the course. Good golfers will find themselves challenged by the inventive design of the course, while recreational players will find the course very playable and endlessly interesting.

The sheer physical beauty of the course is a pleasure to the eye. Greens and fairways are maintained in impeccable fashion. Simply absorbing the enveloping nature that surrounds one is uplifting, regardless of your handicap.

The Club also offers a driving range, a practice putting tee and a pitching green. This well rounded golf facility also offers a well-stocked Pro Shop and a talented, courteous and friendly staff to enhance the golfing experience of members and their guests.

The 16th hole at Audubon Country Club From the tee, the object is to hit your tee shot to an area so as to have a level lie for your second shot, The fairway has a steep hill in the center and is guarded on either side by water.
Generally a mid to short iron is required for your second shot to a green that is guarded in front by a long bunker and water. The green is one of the larger ones at Audubon and slopes from back to front and slightly right to left. Not a tricky hole but one that you will be glad with making four.
